Every so often, it's worth stepping back from saints and formation and just answering a few ordinary questions — the kind that make a person a person, not just a signature at the bottom of a letter.
**Window or aisle?** Aisle. I don't mind moving for people but don't want to have people move for me, plus it lets me get out more easily.
**Best piece of advice?** Don't ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone for any reason ever — no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you've been, ever, for any reason whatsoever.
**Master one instrument?** Piano. It is the key to all other instruments.
**Spirit animal?** First instinct: eagle. But my confirmation saint is Luke, and it feels more apt — strength and service.
**If you had a tattoo, where?** On my back. I'm not a strong believer that tattoos serve a greater good, but if I had to have one — praying hands, or Our Mother Mary.
**Best gift you've ever received?** My wife gave me three beautiful children — so, my kids. My daughter was actually born on Father's Day.
**Favorite color?** Green, though blue is a close second — I wear a lot of navy or dark blue. I also like metallic red for things, and dark grey.
**Least favorite color?** Pink. I can't find a place for it in clothing or things I own — though pink flowers can be very beautiful.
**Weirdest word in the English language?** *Queue.* It doesn't make sense to have that many silent letters.
**Summer or winter?** Summer — I like the beach, and the carefree attitude people have in the summer. I'm not a fan of bitter cold, though I love Christmas time.
